Gestern hat claimID auf seinem Blog bekanntgegeben, dass die hCard Unterstützng verbessert worden ist. Bisher war nur der Name und die URL zum eigenen claimID Profil ausgezeichnet worden.
Jetzt wurde die hCard Implementation um folgnde Felder ergänzt:
Ich fine es gut, dass die Unterstützung von hCard verbessert wurde, frage mich aber schon, warum man sich dann nicht gleich die gesamte Spezifikation vorgenommen hat?
Sieht mal wieder nach amerikanischem Tunnelblick aus, noch nicht mal das Feld für Country mit aufgenommen zu haben. Man geht offensichtlich davon aus, dass claimID ausserhalb der USA nicht genutzt wird.

Oooh - C’mon pixelsbi we know our audience is international. As you probably know the hCard is completely internationalized. We only used “US” nomenclature in naming the fields in the interface - where it matters, in the actual hCard, it is internationalized. Do you want us to change the names of the fields in the interface?

At first thanks for you comment to my post.
You seem to understand german?
No - I prupose to implement the subproperty “country-name” from the property “adr”.
You only implemented the subproperty “region” to mark the state you’re from.
So I can not correctly mark, that I am from the
country: “germany”
state: “niedersachen”
city: “nordhorn”
It’s not only a question about nomenclature. It’s more the difference between state and country
- would be great if you add this field!

whow - thanks for you quick reaction - I realy like the way you have done claimID!
more over: wouldn’t it be a good idea to set the closing div-tag from the vcard to the end of my “public template”. than everbody could expand his hCard a little bit more!
there are still a few more possible hCard properties claimID user might wanna use, which are not covered by your form, yet.
I don’t think, your form has to cover every property - now you have the most usual ones - but, perhaps maybay for some people it would be of interest to expand their hCard entries manually.
