And there it is: the official pixelsebi logo

Well - the name “pixelsebi” is an composition of “pixel” and the German shortcut of my first name “Sebastian”, which is “Sebi”. It started as a joke in spring 2006 and when I have started blogging with this domain, I never expected that this word would become my new nickname in real-life and everywhere on the web.

I started blogging with nearly no readers and after a few months I organized the very first Barcamp in Germany. During the Barcamp I noticed to my surprise what I had triggered: everybody was calling me “pixelsebi”. I was shocked and my whole family was amused about that, because they knew that it originally was intended as a joke.

And now, after more than two years of blogging and being “pixelsebi”, I have decided to make this nickname a brand and therefore I needed a logo. It has been designed by kosmar and will come in different versions.

The most important one is of course a version for this blog and as soon I have figured out, how to change it in this template it will be at the top of this blog. I hope you like it

geht mir genau so. das x, das eigentlich das prägnanteste element sein soll (das ist ja wohl die idee dahinter), fällt am wenigsten auf. hab aber so schnell auch keinen besseren vorschlag. kritisieren ist immer einfacher ;- )

Erinnert mich etwas an die Technik-Abteilung eines konsument-Warenhauses. Jedenfalls düfte damit eine neue Welle losschwappen: jedem sein Logo. Wer bastelt ‘Moellus’?!

Vielen Dank für die Kommentare soweit. Kam auch viel via Twitter und der Sixgroups Community. Kosmar wird nochmal etwas Feinschliff betreiben

@Moellus Technik-Abteilung eines Warenhauses? Treib mich nicht in den Wahnsinn Aber ja - vielleicht wird es jetzt total angesagt auch als Blogger ein total tolles Logo zu haben.
